Mentorships are an essential way of growing as a teacher, gaining unique insider access to an admired teacher’s methodology and accumulating contact hours. Deepen a meaningful relationship with an empowering teacher, understand how they create magic, build sequencing and select music.

You will cultivate your own teaching skills as you learn more about you through the observations of someone you trust. The Yoga Mentorship is a fantastic opportunity to dive deeper into your own teaching philosophy with tools and skills offered from a Zuda teacher.

The Mentorship includes 5 parts:

  1. Goal-Setting Meeting
Declare what skills you want to hone, what you hope to learn and how you want to see your teaching develop.
  2. Teach 4 classes
Your mentor will take 4 of your classes at different times through the month. If there is a payment required for your mentor to take these classes, you are responsible for the drop-in rates.
  3. Personal Assisting
Assist your mentor as he/she practices in a Zuda Yoga class. This is all about technique, energy and connection.
  4. Five Meetings
After each class, you and your mentor will discuss techniques, philosophy, sequencing, feedback, demonstration, practice teaching, workshops, etc. Unique to each teacher, your mentor will assign homework to round out your experience in this program.
  5. Private Yoga Class
Design a class to teach 1:1 to your mentor. Gain experience in teaching to the needs of your student, holding space and teaching authentically.
